Birds of Kaziranga

The bird life International, which is an organization focused on the conservation of bird species has recognized the Kaziranga National Park as an Important Bird Area. the bird species that make the Kaziranga their home include the white-fronted Goose, ferruginous duck, Pochard Duck, the lesser adjutant and the Asian openbill stork. There are also a lot of riverine birds like the Kingfisher, the white-bellied Heron, the Pelican, the greenshank and the term. There are also a lot of birds like quite some variety of Eagles and the Castrol. The Indian vulture, Slender-billed vulture and The White-rumped vulture have survived the brunt of extinction. The gharial is an endangered species by the International Union of conservation for nature and the Saltwater Crocodile is one of the largest living reptiles on this planet.
